"These are SO easy! I am always on the look out for high protien, high fiber foods. I created this recipe on a whim and was incredibly impressed with the outcome... Good for you AND tasty!! Practically perfection in my book! It's made from Kashi Go Lean cereal which has 10g of fiber, 13g of protien and only 1g of fat per serving. There is lots of room for variation so have fun adding your own favorite fillers."

 1. I end up adding chocolate chips and a lot less honey. And (embarrassed pause here) melting some marshmallows to make it stick together better. It's the best, easiest cereal bar I've found. My kids LOVE it. Thank you.

 2. Can anyone suggest a substitute for the peanut butter? My family loves it but our schools are "peanut free"!

 3. These are so yummy! Instead of 1c almonds I put in 1/2c and 1/2c pecans. I will definitely be making these again.

 4. These are good..i subbed whole oats with some sunflower seeds for the multi grain oats, and followed the recipe but it was a bit sweet would make sure and cut back on the honey and brown sugar, i put them in the fridge to cool as they were still a bit chewy and cut them before i did put them in the fridge..i also just used 3/4 cup dried cranberries and chopped up whole almonds in the grinder and left some whole...will make again..healthy snack for the grands i am thinking...

 5. This is a great (and easy) recipe! I found it to be really easy to modify, too. I didn't have the variety of dried fruits listed, so improvised with what I found in my pantry. I don't think you could wrong with this recipe. Just keep the same measurments, but use any type of dried fruit you like! I used less than 1/4 of a cup brown sugar (to cut the sugar down even more), and I don't think you can tell. This is a recipe the whole family is enjoying! Thanks so much for posting! Love it!!

PLEASE RATE MY RECIPES!! :)My husband and I have been happily married for six years and we have two amazing children! I stay home with our son and daughter and stay busy in with local mom's groups and activities. I am a certified childbirth educator (bradleybirth.com) and also teach and supervise the Aqua Aerobic department at one of our local gyms. I am somewhat of a health nut/hippee and distribute whole food suppliments (morganlovesjuiceplus.com), but I love to bake and to share my baked goods. There is no better compliment than when some one takes a bite of my very own Chocolate Chip Cookies and says they are the best they've ever tasted! (Sorry, it's a secret recipe!) I would love to open my own bakery someday... I like to cook for my family too, and have become exceptionally motivated since our son was born. I have been finding myself getting swept away reading cookbooks (while the kids are sleeping). :) I am really enjoying trying new recipes (and so is my husband) and I think I am becomming a "Foodie" so Recipezaar is simply heaven for me!|<a href="http://www.facebook.com/business/dashboard/" title="Miracles in the Making Childbirth Education and Support!" target="_TOP" style="font-family: "lucida grande",tahoma,verdana,arial,sans-serif; font-size: 11px; font-variant: normal; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; color: #3B5998; text-decoration: none;">Miracles in the Making Childbirth Education and Support
